Seamless Teamwork: Tell us why you need a copy…
Michael Sampson wants to know why you need a copy of his book, Seamless Teamwork. I’m curious too. Make us laugh, make us cry, bake a cake or offer us a seat in the Senate. Do whatever it takes, but convince us to send you a book.
This is a quickie. Michael will select the winning entries on Saturday night, New Zealand time.
I need this book because whenever I walk into a room of team members, my seams are showing…which is extra embarrassing for a guy.
We don’t believe in teamwork, we believe that punishment and low salary will people work harder. We have a few jobs open, so come join us!
And maybe you’re book will open my eyes but don’t expect it!
Chris … you need a book called “Teamless Seamwork” to fix that problem!
I’d like a copy of the book because I’m the only person on the web team here and I’d really like to know what its like to work with other people.
With a global SharePoint deployment that grows by the day, we are trying to overcome the challenges of worldwide collaboration. Language has always been one barrier that we have struggled to overcome and are hoping SharePoint can address. New user adoption for MOSS has been extremely high, however, we are still trying to educate our users on the best ways to collaborate. If we can educate employees about this topic through working examples and intuitive user interfaces rather than manuals and training sessions, this would make management very happy!
I need this book because although there is no ‘I’ in ‘team’, there are two of them in ‘imbecile’.
And they are legion.
We need the Seamless Teamwork because we don’t know how to sew and certainly can’t sew together as a team.
Seamless Teamwork is the Holy Grail of our technological quest through the arid deserts of information management…born from a utopian concept of cooperation and integration, this Bible for managing the flood of documents and information our companies are inundated with will allow us to perform collaboration miracles on par with the parting of the Red Sea…its resurrection of techniques to bond a team together through SharePoint technologies is deserving of its own national holiday…and it has a nice cover…
I need all the assistance I can get with my staff using sharepoint; although being an IT company and sharepoints ease of use they are for the most part to stupid to open their web browsers (and minds) and give it a go!
I just asked one of my colleagues if he knew a good answer to the question why we needed a book about teamwork. He just looked at me funny and answered ‘Why should we? We don’t need anything like that!’.
I guess that’s definitely a reason why we need that book badly! I’ll promise to make him read that book if you send us a copy!
Frankly, I’d like to show up my colleagues! I have two projects right now that would greatly benefit from the material in the book.
