Live Online, SharePoint Dashboards Workshop: Final Call

I guess the title says it all, right. Thursday, January 22 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, I’ll be running the Fundamentals of SharePoint Dashboards Workshop, live online. If your team is in need of dashboard examples but are bogged down because of the limitations of WSS, this is the workshop for you.

All participants get hands-on, live instructions along with their own SharePoint sandbox to test out the solutions.

Dashboard parts covered in this workshop include:

  • The Graphics Menu
  • Random Quote Generator
  • My Task Assignments with Visual Status Bars and High Priority Markers
  • Dynamically Created KPI’s using the Calculated Column
  • Quote of the Day
  • Contact Information
  • List and Library access through Web Parts
  • LyteBox for Opening Transparent Windows

    Hi
I have attended the NYC SPUG meeting at Microsoft office on the 4th, Feb, 2009. I was extremely satisfied attending the meeting even though it is out of my schedule and was very late getting home. I was impressed by the dash board work shop by Mark Miller. I was exactly working on creating a dash board like that for my work. I have asked him if I can get the code to create the dash board and improvise it to suite our needs. He said I can look at endusersharepoint.com to get the code. Unfortunarely I could not get the code or customizing the list to create the dash board. It would great help if you could provide me information on how to create the dashboard.

  2. Sree – I will be running this workshop again within the month. If you subscribe to the Weekly Newsletter, you’ll get advanced notice.

    Regards,
    Mark
