Feedback on Fundamentals of SharePoint Dashboards Online Workshop

The Fundamentals of SharePoint Dashboards online workshop has just completed. I’m using this post as a way for the participants to give feedback on the session. If you like what you hear, I will be giving a live, in-person demo at the New York City SharePoint User Group on February 4th. I’d love to see you there. There’s no charge and the food is free! Can’t be that…

So let’s see what the troops have to say about today’s online workshop…

    Mark,
Great session. There is so much you can do with SharePoint, it is just a matter of figuring it out and learning from others. I loved the lytebox and the visual bars on the My Task the most. We already implemented the quote of the day. Please let us know when the quote piece gets tied into a list so it is easier to maintain.
    Thanks again!

I am so excited about everything, I couldn’t wait to get to work today. Thank you so much for sharing your terrific webparts and expanding my horizons. The visual status bar/KPI’s were the top of my list, but the unanticipated gems like Lytebox upped my excitement level! I’ll be watching your site like a hawk and waiting for more great adventures.
    Thank you!

    Mark,
These workshops are such a great concept! Lots of info for such a small cost. I like the random generator and the qoute of the day web parts, and am looking forward to updates to pull the data from a list.

The lytebox is also cool… the type of thing that users go ga-ga over. Same for the javascript to add the expand/colapse buttons. And it’s nice to see there are options for displaying KPIs and pivot tables in absence of using Excel Services.

Thanks for a great session! Looking forward to more!!

These workshops are not only excellent but very intuitive. Mark is an excellent teacher and whether you are a beginner on a power user you will definitely gain from the course.

I can’t wait until the next one

Mark – I just finished watching the recording and working through my sandbox. Fantastic. Too bad I was unable to give you any HS! along the way.

    Good stuff. Thanks.

    Mark,

This was a terrific, informative workshop. I’ve already started using the visual status/high priority in the Tasks list on one of my project sites. I plan to use Lytebox for end user training videos and the expand/collapse buttons for many lists.

    Thanks!
