Conference in Croatia: Microsoft Windays 2009

Microsoft WindaysA note from Mark Miller: Toni Frankola is a frequent contributor at EndUserSharePoint.com as well as a moderator on our Stump the Panel: SharePoint Q&A forum. This is an interesting location for a conference…

From Toni Frankola of SharePoint Use Cases

For the third year in a row I will deliver a presentation at Microsoft Windays 2009. As usual my topic is SharePoint, and for this year the presentation will be:

  • SharePoint for end users – Shortcuts to success

I will present some of the best content from my SharePointUseCases.com and EndUserSharePoint.com articles, including:

  • Planning and organizing SharePoint lab in a virtual environment
  • Organizing a “SharePoint team”
  • Planning your sites with Mind Manager
  • Simple, easy, effective use cases and scenarios you could deploy to your intranet site
  • Creating KPIs on top of Windows SharePoint Services
  • Using simple web parts and scripts to change SharePoint UI: collapse quick launch, adjust a web part size automatically, add menu items, create preview panes and much more

Microsoft Windays 2009 is the largest Microsoft conference in Croatia (and in the Central-Eastern Europeean region). In Croatia we love to mix business pleasure so we are heading to Opatija, a small and beautiful town on the Adriatic cost.

I hope to see you there. — Toni
