2009-06-24 SharePoint Quick Hit: 5 Resources

Spent the early morning getting the weekly newsletter ready for publication, preparing for today’s sessions at SPTechCon and looking at recommended sites on #sharepoint twitter. Here are five interesting ones that caught my attention.

  1. O’Reilly Webcast: Build a PM Dashboard with SharePoint: Dux Raymond Sy, has a 54 minute web cast outlining a potential solution for creating a project management site in SharePoint.

  2. Web-Based Productivity Suite Zoho Now Integrated With Microsoft SharePoint : Joel and I talked about this yesterday in our weekly broadcast.

  3. Best Practices Conference: As SPTechCon is winding down, I’ll be concentrating on the live media coverage for the Best Practices Conference.

  4. Outlook’s Broken – Let’s Fix It : Interesting leverage of the power of twitter, using a viral medium to send a direct message to Microsoft.

  5. Data View conditional formatting using SharePoint Designer: “This article demonstrates how to use SharePoint Designer 2007 conditional formatting to format items in a SharePoint (MOSS 2007) list based on item metadata.”

I’m always looking for more Quick Hits. Leave a comment below if you’ve found something you think others will find of interest. — Mark

Is anyone else offering what Zoho is with SharePoint? Multiple users editing a document simultaneously?
