jQuery SharePoint Resources for the Common Man

jQuery - The Write Less, Do More Javascript LibraryIn my continuing quest to find resources for beginner level jQuery projects, I bookmark the most interesting finds each week and then list them here for future reference. I’m in the middle of my first jQuery solution, a SharePoint Content Slider, but am keeping my eyes out for my next project.

Mark, I checked out the last link – JSF library – but I don’t understand how it relates to jQuery. It seems to me that it is mainly a server side tool.

    Hi Mark

Here is something that I have been trying to get working that I came across yesterday. The sliding action works great in a CEWP, but the Tab action does not.

    It is pretty cool.

    Hi Mark:
I admire your new venture into JQuery!

I found a helpful graphic at http://www.webdesignerwall.com/tutorials/jquery-tutorials-for-designers/ that helps me understand some of the nuts and bolts of JQuery scripting.

    Hi Mark,
A website that always fascinated about is http://jqueryfordesigners.com/
    The tutorials are really impressive

Otherwise, I think the ‘Timeline’ visualisation library would be really cool to explore…

  5. Christophe – I’m just marking things that look interesting to me. In this case, the AJAX capabilities along with the charting components looks intriguing. — Mark
