This was an overview of the full, EUSP Live Online Workshop that Sharon will be giving on March 1, 2010. We will be going over best practices for setting up a security policy, as well as ways to manage security on sites through the use of customized permission levels, creation of security groups, and ways for handling requests for security on specific sets of documents.

This session will be especially helpful for site managers and site collection managers who have not had formal training in SharePoint security and permissions. At the conclusion of this session, you will be able to implement and maintain security policies and procedures on your SharePoint sites through proven best practices and delivered by an experienced, professional SharePoint technologist.
