SharePoint Saturday EMEA – 20 Hours of Recordings Available
Here it is: all of the recorded sessions from SharePoint Saturday SEMEA are available for download.
They are stored in a .zip format. Extract each recording into a folder on your harddrive. I personally have one called “SPSEMEA”, but you can put them whereever you want. After extracting, move into the top level of each recording folder and click the .htm file. The recording will then open in your browser.
The presenters appreciate your comments, so after watching one or two, please leave them a message below.
As a followup to SPSEMEA, Ayman is sponsoring SPSArabia and Mo is sponsoring SPSJordan. Jump on board and consider presenting. This looks like it’s shaping up to be a fun year.

Is Ruven’s excel file posted with his video too?
I am not able to see live demos in presentations due to codec download issues with latest media player.
Thanks,
Venky
I am not able to see live demos in presentations due to codec download issues with latest media player.
I downloaded the zip files for the recordings on this webpage. What file do I open to play the recording? Site indicates to click the .htm page – which one? I opened one called playback.htm but it opens a black webpage. I open a .wmv file but the video plays with no sound. ??
Hi.. I’m having Codec problems as well.. I have tried to a number of fixes found on google, i.e.,
1. re-Registering the codecs: regsvr32 msscds32.ax
and
2. Re-installing MSS1.
.. But, still no video.. Are there any other suggestions?
After a reboot.. I am now able to view most of the videos. However the following presenters are still coming up with codec errors:
Boris Gomiunik
Laura Rogers
Mohamed Yehida
Ruven Gotz
Hi Mark – Is Ruven’s XLS file available?
Thanks!
John
For those having CODEC problems, you will need to download the MSA1 Decoder to play back the featured recordings that use MS Office Communication Server 2007 and MS Office Live Meeting 2007. The download site can be found here:

Hope this helps!

Tony – Thanks for that one. Any chance you could write me a short article explaining the problem and why it occurs? — Mark
