The SharePoint Community Calendar

SharePoint Community Calendar

I’ve been working on this for a while and finally decided it doesn’t have to be absolutely perfect before letting people use it. EUSP, along with fpWeb.net, is sponsoring a SharePoint Community Calendar. This will be a central resource for the entire SharePoint Community to access and add events. Anyone can send in events to the calendar. We welcome any type of event from SharePoint Saturdays to live online webcasts to publically available workshops.

Take a look at the calendar and see if you’d like to participate. If you have an event, send the listing to [email protected] and Natasha will get it inserted.

I would have liked to let everyone input their own event through a moderated approval process, but there’s no such thing for anonymous users. Hopefully, a centralized SharePoint calendar will be useful enough to jump through the hoop of sending us an email.

Thanks in advance for participating. — Mark

    Hey Mark,

Would it be possible to post the time zones on the calendar entries?

    Thanks,

I tried connecting this to Outlook and it prompted for a login. Will this be allowed?

  3. Great feature! Very useful and i have been lokking for this sometime. Wonderful to get all webcasts and online seminars listed. But i couldnt connect it to outlook, it asks for credentials. Is it possible to make that possible?
