Any ideas?<br /> Thanks,<br /> Greg </p> http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/topic/audience-targeting-by-column#post-5341 Tue, 24 Mar 2009 10:20:35 +0000 iamspartacus 5341@http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/ <p>In creating a list, I have one column (hyperlink to documents) that needs to be targeted to a handful of individuals while having it not appear to the general user, who will see the rest of the columns in the list. </p> <p>Is there a way to do this using Target Audience (to target the whole column) or would it be better to simply create a Team Site and link from the un-targeted column to documents in that Team Site, relying on the user groups permissions in that Team Site to handle document security?</p> <p>Or would a targeted, second view do it just as well?</p> <p>Since there will be a large number of items in this list, I'd rather not have to place permissions on each document. </p>
