That is such a simple great idea. We have MOSS (standard) installed and we do have SPD. I haven't personally done much with the CQWP or JavaScript but I may know enough to get by for this.

Thanks again!!
AutoSponge on "Commenting on an Publishing Article" http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/topic/commenting-on-an-publishing-article#post-4284 Tue, 17 Feb 2009 11:39:05 +0000 AutoSponge 4284@http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/
This doesn't exist outside of the blog template, as far as I know. But, you can create a list of comments with a lookup field pointing to the page. Then display the comments with a CQWP (if you have MOSS) or DVWP. A static link to the NewForm page with a query string parameter to set the page's lookup value can be done with a custom NewForm or JavaScript.

What version of SP do you have? Do you have SPD? Have you done anything with CQWP or JavaScript in the past?
lmelito on "Commenting on an Publishing Article" http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/topic/commenting-on-an-publishing-article#post-4270 Mon, 16 Feb 2009 19:31:37 +0000 lmelito 4270@http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/
Does anyone know how to enable commenting for an article on a publishing site? I have been looking around on codeplex but haven't found too much.

Thank you in advance for any assistance! :)

-Lisa
