Using this in conjuction with querystring values you can fill many default field values. Here is a good post to get you started. http://blogs.msdn.com/sharepointdesigner/archive/2007/06/13/using-javascript-to-manipulate-a-list-form-field.aspx
judeofzion on "Pre-Filled Forms" http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/topic/pre-filled-forms#post-4227 Fri, 13 Feb 2009 13:03:29 +0000 judeofzion 4227@http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/
I need to create multiple pre-filled out templates for a trouble ticket. Is there any way to modify the default values of the form for each type (Blackberry activation, reset password, checkout loaner laptop, etc.) of trouble ticket? We need to be able to click on a link to a "Common Issues" page that will redirect the tech to a form with most of the fields already filled in and all they will need to do is fill in the name of the user and assign it to a team member. Is this possible?
