Go to the site, choose Site Actions -> Site Settings -> Save this site as a template. You can save up to 10 megs of data with each site template. -- Mark
amitoni on "Site duplication -" http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/topic/site-duplication-#post-5515 Mon, 30 Mar 2009 16:13:28 +0000 amitoni 5515@http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/
I have a read-only site collection with one sub site, let's call high-level site a PROGRAM and the child site as PROJECT. Each of them has set number of deliverables. I want to use these sites as template (source) when ever a new site is created.

For instance, if a user decides to create "Program A", he can chose to copy document library information PROGRAM site. When a child site is created under Program A, it should a copy of PROJECT.

I need to know if I can do this manually? of course a systematic solution is even better.

Thanks for the guidance

Amitoni.
