It will not appear above the document but on the right side. Chances are user closed it. User in another city, running Office 2003. </p> <p>The workflow sends a notification to the 2003 user that a document is ready for review, including a link which opens the document in user's MS Word 2003. User needs to be able to update the status of the document (change its status to "Reviewed", a SharEPoint property. </p> <p>In Office 2007, the "Edit Document" button and the Properties panel appear conveniently right above the document viewing window. This will not happen for our 2003 user. How can he easily update this property for each of the 50 documents he will be reviewing this way? </p> <p>The goal is to NOT have him have to go to the site and manually update each document's properties. Please help! </p>
