I don't personally have that level of access to the server however, I am quite sure those who oversee the server would be able to allow a Codeplex solution. I will check with them.

Thank you again for your great help!

Jerry
AutoSponge on "Using IF statement to pull data from another column" http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/topic/using-if-statement-to-pull-data-from-another-column#post-5287 Thu, 19 Mar 2009 19:19:17 +0000 AutoSponge 5287@http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/
Jerry

This is a common request and it's on my todo list. I don't have a short answer (yet). But this is a complicated thing to accomplish OOB. I will attack the problem with JavaScript, but I think there are already solutions on Codeplex using custom controls--do you have that level of access to your server that a codeplex solution could be deployed?
Jerry on "Using IF statement to pull data from another column" http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/topic/using-if-statement-to-pull-data-from-another-column#post-5265 Wed, 18 Mar 2009 18:26:14 +0000 Jerry 5265@http://www.endusersharepoint.com/STP/
Column A has several selections; Column B has several selection. I need to create a Column C with an if statement that based on what is selected in Column A it then pulls data from Column B. The trick is that when the formula is executed I want the formula to pause so I can make a choice of the contents from Column B, not just display the data from column B.

Hope this makes sense.

Always appreciate the help,

Jerry
