Add new files to a folder in a doc library

    I have a document library with a folder in it, that I would like a custom content type to go in once you select it from the new menu. I have the custom content type already configured but can this be done out of the box or do I have to code this?

    I tend to steer people away from using folders from within document libraries, instead using views to show that particular information. Since the document will be using your content type, you can created a view that filters for this.
