Is there a way to add blocks of text to a survey? I'd like to add instructions on the survey page itself. Is there a question type I could create that has no "answer" available? Is there a way to add a CEWP to the NewForm and some but not all editform pages? (This survey has multiple pages and branching.) I'd really rather not use Infopath, but I am willing to do some SharePoint Designer work.

  2. Yes, create your survey, then open the first question by clicking on the respond to this survey link. Add ?PageView=Shared&ToolPaneView=2 to the end of your URL. Add a CEWP and plug in your text.

I am tagging on this an hope it gets noticed- This worked well for me but want to ask another Survey question-

How can I get formatting (or at the very least, paragraph breaks) in my survey questions?

The default solid bold text blocks are pretty poor in terms of clarity when the question is longer than a line or so.
