Automating Documents to document library

    I know that we can create a program(script) that will save a document automatically to a document library, but can you specify the content type in that script.

    Basically I want to take a report and save it to a document library and give a content type of report. Does this make it any easier if it is a infopath form?

    Yes.

    No it does not, Infopath form is also a document.
