Cannot Edit the item properties in the library

    Hi,
    All of a sudden i cannot edit any of the item properties. when i select Edit against a particular item the approval status field has below list
    0;#Approval
    1;#Rejected
    2;#Pending
    On selecting any of the above and when i click on ok
    I get the below error
    "Failed to get value of the "Approval Status" column from the "Moderation Status" field type control. See details in log. Exception message: Input string was not in a correct format."
    The Content approval for this library is not enabled now. How do i fix this.

    Hi,

    Try activate the SharePoint log

    Central Administration => Operation => Diagnostic Logging =>
    Event Throttling =>
    Category = All
    Least critical to event = None
    Least critical to trace = verbose

    Trace Log
    Path = path for the log

    You will received a more detailed error.
    Activate it, reproduce the error, desactivate it and you will be able to analyse it.

    Don't forget to turn it off after, because it will grow rapidly.
