CEWP is causing masterpage header to resize

    Hello all,

    I have added a Content Editor Web Part to my page. I basically is rich text and a image. When I confirm my changes and close out of edit the master pager header is impacted. Another words I will have to scroll up to see the Global breadcrumb, the welcome menu, and the full images that I have embeded in header. Its not broken I just need to scroll to see complete header. I want it so the header appears without having to resize the browser window. Its like the CEWP is causing the whole page to resize. Should this be occuring? What can I do to assure that my masthead remains fixed.

    It might be spanning to fit the zone. Did you specify specific height/width options on the CEWP?

    Eric,

    I failed to size the CEWP. This sounds good. I would be interested if there are any best practices on the size a standard CEWP should be. I am currently using a left and right column for the web part zones.

    I don't know if there is a best practice on that or not, it just depends on what you want your layout to look like. It spans to fit the zone by default but you can over ride that by specifing the height/width in the settings or using CSS to handle it as well.
