I have an issue with SharePoint/Outlook. I have set up an approval workflow which is started when something new is created in a SharePoint folder. All approvers has got a conflict message with Outlook when they receive the emails for their Workflow Task:
"conflicting edits have been made to the same item. To resolve this conflict, select the item in the list below you wish to keep and then choose "keep this item", or choose "keep all" to preserve all he versions"
Once they select one the items they get the email to edit their task in SharePoint and all works great.
All have Outlook 2007. They all have Blackberry's. My first thought was they were opening the email with their Blackberry and then in Outlook. one approver has the reading pane 'ON' in Outlook, thought that may be the problem. (Not) None of the approvrs gets the conflict all of the time. This happens sporadically.
