    How can I create a Recurrence field?
    I know I can create a new calendar list, but if wanted to create a custom list how can create a Recurrence field?

    OOB, you can't. It has special code behind it to make that happen. What are you trying to do?

    No, it's a special type of field that belongs to the Event content type.
