Ok so here is one that you would think would be easy but isn't. I have a need to create a status report for my management team based on Tasks. I elected to use the Newsletter with no lines style. Everything looks good excepth that there is an additional field that I added for the Task Assignee to update called task Comments and Updates. When I add this to the view it doesn't show the information in this field but rather View Entries... the field itself is set to Append Changes to the Existing Text so we can see the history of the task. Any ideas?

  2. you may want to use Dessie Lunsford's solution for creating a calculated column that pulls from the Multiple Lines of Text column...check the EUSP website for directions for it under his name (under the Taming the Elusive Calculated Column section).

I tried Dessie's solution, but I did not see how to get it to work with the append-only comments field....anyone??

  5. I'm working on an article that will address this and enable you to view the comments themselves instead of just the "View Entries..." link.

    Stay tuned :)
