I have created a document template for use by my HR department as they are auditing job descriptions and requirements. However, they need the inclusion of the date saved, who saved it and the last time it was changed and by who. This information is clearly visible in SharePoint, but there doesn't appear to be a way to get the information from SharePoint to automatically populate my template. Any ideas?
Here's how I'm accomplishing the goal. Created a content type called HR Job Description and included my columns. Created a word document template and attached it to the content type. Navigated to the content type and chose to edit the template to get my document fields from SharePoint. Created and saved my template, but I cannot find a way to insert Created By, Created Date, Modified By, Modified Date as options in my document properties panel. Any ideas on how this could be done?
