    Hi guys,

I created a custom list and used SharePoint designer to create a custom form to submit a new item to that list. I pulled the list view with all current entries and the submission form to the front page of my site. That way people can add a new item and immediately see it in the list.

Here's the problem. Once the item is submitted and the user hits F5 or Refresh on that page, the form will resubmit the item. The only way to get around it is by clicking the Site Tab or Site Title to refresh the page. Meanwhile the form looks completely blank so there is no indication that the data might get resubmitted.

Has anyone come across that and do you have a solution? Hopefully there won't be too muh coding involved. My coding knowledge ends at the copy and paste level.

    Thanks for your help,
    Manny Carwile

  2. You may need to do an AJAX submit which does not require a page refresh.
