I have an SPD workflow created on a form Library. When I attempt to manually start the workflow on a form I get presented with:
"Unable to display this Web Part. To troubleshoot the problem, open this Web page in a Windows SharePoint Services-compatible HTML editor such as Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer. If the problem persists, contact your Web server administrator."
Automatic start on Create or Edit works fine...
How can I troublshoot this error?

I had something similar. A closed, meaning hidden but still present, webpart was to blame. Mark had a terrific post (or was it one of his video's?) where he describes the difference between 'closing' and 'deleting' a webpart. Using that tip I was able to clean up all my pages. If you can't find Mark's post let me know and I'll dig it up for you.
