Export Announcement web part

    Is there a way to export/copy announcements from one site collection to another? I have a user who would like to take the entire announcement web part for one site collection and import it into another site. Is this possible?

    Save list as template (include content) and recreate the list from that template on another site.

    Yes. Open the Announcements list and click Settings, List Settings. Click the link to Save as template. Be sure to check to enable the check box to Include content.

    Click on the list gallery link that will come up when you click OK. Click on the list and download a copy. Upload it to the other site collection list gallery and create a new announcement list based off this template.
