I have a 'current weather' web part (Mossman) that worked beautifully for a few days.

Now I get this error: "Failed to apply XSLT to the content." If you pull up the web part in the site Galleries, "Web Parts" you see the same error. The link to the XML file works. I've gone through the XSLT several times looking for something -- anything -- that could be creating a problem. But frankly, it never SHOULD have worked if the XSLT had a problem to begin with. No changes were made -- it just quit working.

Am I just out-of-luck? This was a great solution since it did not require doing anything ON the server itself. If a solution requires "installation" on the server, then I'm dead in the water anyway. Anyone have any ideas? My thanks in advance.

  2. Does that web part pull content from an outside XML source? I seem to remember that it does. Perhaps the XML structure has changed and thus the XSLT is no longer valid to properly format the XML data.

Edit: just tried it and am not running into any problems. Maybe your IT department/host is blocking access now?

Blocking -- that sounds more like the root of the problem. Thanks!
