Is there a way (maybe using quick parts?) to pull the SharePoint Document Version into the header / footer of a Word Document. I have colleagues that print training manuals and would like the version included in the header - this way they can easily tell of the version they have is out of date based on the information in the SharePoint document library.

  2. Yes.
    1. Go to your doc's footer.
    2. Go to the Insert tab in the ribbon.
    3. Click on "Quick Parts", and choose "Field..."
    4. On the left, choose "DocProperty"
    5. Then, in the property section that comes up, choose "Revision Number" and click OK.
