I just attended your jQuery session today and learned a lot. Thanks for sharing your expertise with us.
I have a followup question: How would you deploy a JQuery solution to an environment with hundreds of site collections? You explained how to do so for an individual site, but how can it be done so that every site has it automatically?

That's a tall order. I assume we're talking about a farm and not a single server. While I haven't worked on a large farm like the one you describe, you may want to develop a feature (something I don't do personally--that's a developer's talent), here's an example article of the process:
