Limit on attaching documents to List

    Hi,
    How do i extend the limit on attaching documents to the list to how do i extend the time out for the same.
    Iam able to upload large files in document library but cannot attach the same file to the lists.

    please advice...

    In central admin, go to the Application Management tab
    1. Click Web Application general settings
    2. Pick the right web application in the drop-down box
    3. There is a "maximum upload size" section that you can modify, but I highly recommend that this isn't any higher than 50MB
    4. There is a Web page security validation section that lets you change the timeout settings also.
