Is there an easy way to link to different content types without having the extra long url? trying to make navigation easy by setting up a table of contents, but I found that when I copy the URL of the content type it is very long. If I make any changes to the content type, that URL is broken. So it is a manual effort to manage the links. Is there an easier way to link to content types?

  2. Are you talking about the content type edit page(s)? Where you add/remove site columns?

I am sorry for not being clear. A simple custom list with several fields. Once you add your content types and customize them they display under the New menu. Selecting each of them returns a different intake. That is the link I am trying to simplify.

  4. put that long URL in an anchor tag:

    link

If your TOC is a list, you can do this with a calc column and Christophe's calcHTML JavaScript.
