I have a list running a about 75 columns at the moment. There are a number of views associated with it for different teams. I was trying to create a [Me] filter on the different columns, but for some reason some of them work and some do not. Though the columns are set up the same way as People only. For instance I have a column called QPC Contact that will not filter on [Me] in a view, but the column Project Manager will filter on [Me]. Is this just a case of too many columns or am I doing something else wrong.

I'm not sure what the issue is with not being able to filter, but to answer that last question, yes, too many columns. The best practice is to keep any list at less than 60 columns.
