    Hi
I have been using the calculated column in a content type to do a currency conversion USD/EUR to GBP
I was getting a #DIV0 error so went back deleted the columns and created new ones....
Now I have a load of orphaned columns that I can't see in the Site Column Gallery but I see them as options in the view list.
I don't need the data in the columns but how can I delete the orphan columns from the site totally?

Hope that makes sense and someone can tell me what to do!
    Thanks
    Ruth

  2. Ruth - Yep, it's a major pain. When the content type is used in a list or library, even when that content type is removed, the columns from that content type remain in the selection list... AHHHHHHHGGGG!

I dont' have a solution for you, but I can verify that you are not alone.

    Regrets,
    Mark
