    Hi:
Does anyone know if it's possible to have a thumbnail preview (or the like) of various documents in a Document Library?

I see products like those below and I would love to show a preview of what a spreadhseet or a PDF looks like by hovering over it.

  2. Charlie - Are you going to provide the thumbnail shot, or does it have to be generated dynamically from the document? -- Mark

  4. While I don't use it, I think SharePoint already has the capability to convert .docx to HTML http://www.sharepointblogs.com/ajp/archive/2008/04/06/document-conversion-turn-your-docx-to-a-html-page.aspx

Then all you have to do is write a .CSS for those files to shrink the font, hide everything after the first page, etc.
