I have a flyout menu for the Quick Launch Navigation. It works fine, thought the background color of the flyout region is white (and blends with the page background color) and causing more issues than benefits. I have tried changing the CSS property at several places whereever 'QuickLaunch Outer' was mentioned, but no success.
I changed both in core.css and Obsi1011-65001.css
Appreciate any help or direction on this.
My recommendation is to use Firefox and Firebug to isolate the CSS classes. I'm waiting on a theme design from our design staff before I start branding a team site so I can't tell you the classes to over ride specifically at this point in time.
I could tell you the styles for a publishing left nav, but that doesn't apply here.
Edit:
Don't directly edit the core.css file, instead override it with your own css file. Directly modifying core is not recommended from a support standpoint.
