I am newbie in SharePoint 2007 and I had been reading and enjoying some of your excellent presentations about SharePoint 2007 (Thank You so much for them).
I wish if it is possible to understand something about report center. And I have a question.
I should be able to see my custom lists from my parent site in the web part lists when I want to add a web part in my report center site?

If you want to add lists using default list web parts you cannot see lists from parent site. The only way is to play with Data View Web Part and connect to one of these lists. Here are some instructions on how to do that. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepointdesigner/HA101191181033.aspx
