  1. From Carolyn:

Our internal environment is all Microsoft Windows operating systems but we have some external project partners who access our SharePoint environment that use Macs.

Recently, one complained that the rich text editor is missing in the wiki for Mac users so they have to use HTML to edit wiki pages. Is there anything that we could offer to allow Mac users to edit SharePoint wikis without resorting to HTML?

Telerik radEditor can be downloaded for free for anyone with a Sharepoint license. The URL to actually get it is slipping me at the moment but I will find it.

Telerik was contracted by microsoft to develop this when it was discovered there was no rich text editing available for Mac and other browsers. I'll add to this when I find the correct links.

It works well, we use it. You can have it override the ootb rich text editor for IE as well as have it configured to be the rich text editor for list items too.

We have it configured at the farm level to be on for Mac and set so that site collection administrators can enable the other 2 features if they choose.
