Scroll Position lost after Refresh of Page

(3 posts)
  1. Can it be fixed that whenever you perform an action (check out, edit) on a document, Internet Explorer loses the scroll position after refreshing the page?

This is very annoying if you have a page with heaps of data.

Strange thing is that when I'm at the bottom of a page and I click the IE refresh button, the page is refreshed and scroll position is retained.

    Erwin

I am providing a link to a post that partially answers your request. http://pathtosharepoint.wordpress.com/2009/01/12/quick-tip-link-to-your-pages-main-content/ . Next to this blog "pathtosharepoint" is a great resource. Very helpful just as you will find here. Check out this post, hopefully it helps you some.

  3. I can see how the page would scroll to the position where the code in the post you provided is inserted, but I can't seem to figure out how to insert the code dynamically in the page when I perform an action like checkout, or edit document. Anyone?
