    Hi all,
We are trying to create a page that contains view of all calendars in the subiste. We tried the CQWP, but it retrives only the "Title" of the item. But we want to display all columns of the list. We do not have the rights to modify the XSLT file. So what is the work around for this problem?

we checked out this : http://www.endusersharepoint.com/VideoOnDemand/Calendar-ConsolidationWithListWP/Calendar-ConsolidationWithListWP.html.

However this does not allow retrieval from the subsites.

is it possible to import the subsite's list to the parent site, directly. So that we can create a page which displays all the Calendar/lists from the subistes.

Also, Is it possible to use the content editor web part to display the details of the subsite list. If yes can you please share the sample code?

  2. You need CQWP if you want to retrieve from subsites. Do you have full administrative access to your server? Can you deploy custom stuff? In case you do not have the right to deploy custom code you might have a problem :(

This, custom solution might solve your problem: http://www.codeplex.com/ECQWP

    Let me know,

  3. Heather Solomon has a good blog post about customizing the CQWP:

  4. We have a solution for that called "Master Calendar". It's an out of the box solution that uses a master calendar to push information out to the subcalendars. As luck would have it, there is an upcoming workshop to show you how to do that.

Check out, "Create a Master Calendar in SharePoint" and see if it will work for you:
