We've been disappointed in the OOTB method of getting to attachments on a list. While it's fairly easy to add attachments, to find them and open them is a hassle (folks have to actually open up the item, then find the attachment link down the bottom). Everyone - including me - wants the little paper clip in a list view to actually be clickable. Do you know of a way to make that paper clip linked to a list of attachments for an item? Or, alternatively, do you know how to do something similar in a DVWP? I've found the Attachments Yes/No field which you can expose in a DVWP and seems useless to me in its' OOTB state.

I should be able to build a demo of this today using my tooltip-stye code.

I got distracted by IE not behaving like FF and stopped working on it. I'll look at this again when I get a chance--it's still worthwhile.
