Skip Weekends on Recurrences

    Certain tasks are rotated throughout the dept every 4th day. Wishing to show who has a particular assignment for the day on the master calendar, we set the recurrence for every 4th day. The parameters of the work week were changed to Monday through Friday, starting with Monday. But the recurrence still shows up on weekends.

    What do I need to do to have the calendar bypass Saturdays and Sundays (and holidays, if possible)?

    You'll have to split this out into multiple calendar events based on a weekly schedule so that you can specify the workdays. Just setting it as repeadting every 4 days will do Saturday and Sunday.

    You'll have to sit down and determine a pattern on how it shakes out. We had a problem like this with scheduling on Outlook/Sharepoint calendars and had to create 2 different recurring schedules and assign people to start the schedules at different days so it worked out.
