Not sure if this is really the forum for this question but I'll give it a rip anyway. The shortcomings of the MOSS wiki tools are well-documented and I have a request to find a more mature wiki solution if one is available. The core issue was cited by the user as:

"The biggest problems I have are the difficulty in adding images and documents. Having to load them first, and devise a logical location to store them is cumbersome. Additionally SharePoint wiki doesn't give any assistance when cross referencing tables. It is simple enough to create the link, but you need to have checked in advance exactly what the other page is called."

I tried to evaluate a solution from KwizCom and while it looked good on the surface, it turned out to be extraordinarily buggy and support from KwizCom has been difficult to obtain. Any suggestions regarding other third-party solutions would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance, as always!

P.S. I looked a bit at the CKS Enhanced Wiki Edition on CodePlex but it looks like a dead project.

  2. pay solution = confluence (with SharePoint connector)
free solution = dokuwiki (with PHP and some hacks to put it in your pages)
