Does anyone have some tips or best practices when it comes to establishing time zone settings when there are several users in different zones sharing a site? I understand you can control settings at a site level and an individual level, but I was wondering I am looking for some direction on how to implement a process of SP recognizing different time zones. I am on MOSS 2007.

    thanks!

To me, the outfit that "owns" the site -- not the site collection, the site -- can set their time zone for that site.

Example: The Doo-Dadd company is based in New York City but the plant creating the doo-dadd body is in Kansas and the one creating the wheels that go on it is in Seattle.
    - New York city owns the site collection so it is set at Eastern time.
    - Kansas sets its site at Central and
    - Seattle uses Pacific.

Because my 1pm in Central time is viewed ... I think ... by those in New York as 2pm. I'm sure Autosponge or Mark will correct me if I am wrong.
