Upload Document Overwrite Checkbox

    Hi,

    When I choose to upload a document to a doc lib in SharePoint there is an option to overwrite existing versions. By default it is checked on.

    Is it possible to set the default to be off for just one document library?

    Since it's a _layout file, I think you'd have to crack it open from the 12 hive and modify the file there. (make a copy first)

    Yes, but won't this modify it for the whole of SharePoint? I just want it to apply to one document library.
