   Users are having trouble with the Upload Multiple Documents option in a document library. When they use it, the computer hangs up and freezes. If they select Upload Document and then use the link for "Upload Multiple Files..." it works fine. What's going on here?

   Have you Office 2003 on the computer that freezed?

   No, the computer has Office 2007.

   The freezing occurs when the user clicks on the Upload Multiple Documents option in the dropdown menu. They don't get far enough to actually upload any documents. It's freezing for every library we tried on that computer as well.

   Any thoughts?

   Is that PC running Vista? We've had some issues with a user here who has Vista on her machine involving document libraries. We also had a similar problem to your's when someone used FireFox to upload multiple documents. SharePoint didn't like that too well.

   We've been able to narrow it down to one computer (hopefully it's the only one) in this case. It is running XP and using Internet Explorer.

   Our solution is to have this machine re-imaged or replaced. Because the user is at a remote site, we have no way of knowing how old or slow it is.
