I am working with client and he wants to use Wiki Sites to share information with his team. I am fairly new to wikis and I was wondering if someone could explain to me how I can edit the default page template "How to use this Wiki site page"? I know I can edit at the site level once it is created, however I want to edit them main template so the correct verbiage appears everytime a wiki site is created. Is this possible?

You could modify the wiki site to have the verbiage you want, and then save the site as a template. You would then have to instruct your users to use that template when creating a new wiki site.
(To roll this template out globally, there's an stsadm command - addtemplate)Laura Rogers

Jennifer - As Laura implies, there really isn't a way to do this OOTB. I investigated this a couple months ago, even to the point of pulling Bob Mixon into the discussion. There really isn't a single template you can modify that will manage the face of the wiki.

If you are a Twitter user, follow spwiki, aka Kevin Davis. He is actively looking for enhancements that need to be made to the Sharepoint wiki platform.
