Workflow for deleted items

    I have a list that is maintained by several ppl with contributor rights. Is there an OTB SP workflow that I can set up that will generate an approval for an item to be deleted from the list?

    There isn't an OOB one, but you can create your own workflow in SPD, that will do that.
