Workflows in Doc Libraries (Approver and Collect Feedback)

    I need clarification on this simple question. Is it NOT possible to customize the approval and collect feedback workflows on the document libraries? I only see the option to add approvers and set a due date. Is there no way to customize those 2 OOB workflows?

    Correct in that regard, you cannot change the workflow process, only specify who your approvers are and when things need to be done by. Any functionality other than the basic solution the OOTB workflows provide would have to be done as a new workflow in SPD.
