I'm new to Sharepoint and trying to configure a test site in WSS for an intranet (possibly going to MOSS down the road). The standard rich text editor in WSS is too basic and I'm trying to find something more mature and easy-to-use.

I've used both TinyMCE and FCKeditor on PHP open source CMS sites (Wordpress, Drupal, etc) but have never used it for .NET. Can anyone recommend/speak about their experience with TinyMCE, FCKeditor, RadEditor or another fully-featured WYSIWYG editor in Sharepoint?

I did see this tutorial on integrating FCKeditor with Sharepoint which seems promising. I really want user to easily add images to a content area.

We have RadEditor deployed for Mac users. It's free, works well, and is alot better than the standard rich text controls.

  3. I'm also using it because I spend most of my time in FF, not IE. It works well.
